Meta that owned WhatsApp has revealed a new feature based on a new chat filter to enhance the app's convenience for users who use it as an inbox. These new chat filter feature, include All, Unread and Groups separate columns. Which facilitate easy access to different categories of messages.
The concept of the new chat filter feature was announced by Meta Ceo Mark Zuckerberg, which he had shared on his WhatsApp Channel and on Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg announced on a recent Facebook post "We're introducing a chat filter on WhatsApp to assist you in swiftly locating crucial messages."
The company famed that there were similar features gradually rolling out to both Android and iPhone users, with availability for everyone expected in the coming weeks.

The company features a trio of filters, categorising all chats into three primary sections : All, Unread and Groups. Here we explain the new filter in detail.

• All : This filter represents the default view of all messages in your inbox.
• Unread : This filter is designed to see Unread messages in your inbox. It helps user focus on their messages which are not responded by the user. There will be count of Unread messages which will highlight those that are marked as unread or remain unopened.
• Groups : This filter consolidates all group chats, screaming search for preferred ones. Additional, it showcases subgroup of Communities to facilitate quicker access.
